What a great conference we all had in Round Rock. There were a lot of great classes and interactions through out the days. The conference this year will feature a wide range of training topics relevant to both established and prospective Citizens on Patrol programs. Whether or not your agency currently has a volunteer program, this conference offers something for everyone—including sessions on how to start and sustain a successful COP program.
Highlights include:
- Courses in Crisis Intervention, Situational Awareness, Traffic Control (Basic & Advanced), Crime Scene, and more
- Specialized COP training tracks: Basic, Advanced, Practical, Leadership, and Coordinator Round Tables (including LE-only sessions)
- TCOLE credit available for sworn personnel

Exciting News for the 2025 TCOPA Conference!
We’re thrilled to announce that the 2025 Conference will be held in Round Rock, TX! Exciting plans are in store, including a variety of engaging classes and activities.
- Sunday, August 3: Evening check-in for the conference
- Monday, August 4: Welcome session and classes
- Tuesday, August 5: Classes during the day, followed by an evening banquet
- Wednesday, August 6: Special presentation and TCOPA general meeting

Early Details
Some more details on the 2025 conference
The conference is scheduled for August 3rd-6th. On Sunday there will be an evening event. Monday and Tuesday will be full days of training. The banquet will be on Tuesday night. Wednesday morning there will be a debrief on a critical incident followed by the membership meeting.
Room Rates @ Embassy Suites (host hotel) will be $114, breakfast included, along with an evening reception each night with free drinks and snacks. In the coming weeks the room blocks and registration will open up. Stay tuned for more details!
