Nominations Open for TCOPA Awards
It’s time to recognize the best of the best—nominations are now open for the prestigious TCOPA Awards!
Attached is the official nomination packet to guide you through the process. Please take a moment to highlight the outstanding individuals or programs making a difference in your communities.
Important Notes:
- Agencies do not need to attend the conference to be eligible for awards.
- That said, we’d love to see your agency represented at the Awards Banquet on Tuesday, August 5th, 2025, at the Embassy Suites in Round Rock.
- Please review the updated rules, as some nomination requirements have changed.

Exciting News for the 2025 TCOPA Conference!
We’re thrilled to announce that the 2025 Conference will be held in Round Rock, TX! Exciting plans are in store, including a variety of engaging classes and activities.
- Sunday, August 3: Evening check-in for the conference
- Monday, August 4: Welcome session and classes
- Tuesday, August 5: Classes during the day, followed by an evening banquet
- Wednesday, August 6: Special presentation and TCOPA general meeting

Early Details
Some more details on the 2025 conference
The conference is scheduled for August 3rd-6th. On Sunday there will be an evening event. Monday and Tuesday will be full days of training. The banquet will be on Tuesday night. Wednesday morning there will be a debrief on a critical incident followed by the membership meeting.
Room Rates @ Embassy Suites (host hotel) will be $114, breakfast included, along with an evening reception each night with free drinks and snacks. In the coming weeks the room blocks and registration will open up. Stay tuned for more details!
